QGIS Advanced Course Schedule

Day 1

The first day of the course begins with a brief review of GIS data types and files, Geopackages, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS connections. Next, we’ll cover project settings and templates, and discuss the various methods of presentation.

On the second day of the course, we’ll get started with analyses and making edits. There will be a brief review of vector analyses. Afterward, we’ll practice with graphical models and raster data analyses. You’ll also learn how to avoid intersections, trace existing objects, perform advanced digitization, manage feature attributes, and check geometries. On this day, there will also be time to discuss case studies from your own field of work.
