Want to collect and manage geodata more efficiently with QField? In this one-on-one course, you’ll learn how to capture, edit, and sync GIS data in the field using QField and QGIS. You’ll discover how to use offline maps, enter field data accurately, and perform real-time analysis to streamline your workflow. With personal guidance, self-paced online modules, and hands-on assignments, you’ll be ready to apply QField directly in your GIS projects and spatial analysis work.

Introduction to the blended learning QField course

QField is a powerful mobile GIS app that lets you collect, edit, and analyze geospatial data—right in the field. Instead of waiting to process data back at the office, you can check and update information on the spot. This not only saves time but also reduces errors and improves accuracy.

With QField, you can take your full QGIS project into the field—without losing functionality or precision. Even without internet access, you can view maps, collect data, and sync it later. That makes QField ideal for inspections, fieldwork, and spatial analysis in remote locations. Thanks to its seamless integration with QGIS, you can open, update, and manage projects effortlessly.

By capturing data correctly the first time, you eliminate duplicate work and speed up your workflow. QField also includes an interactive map view that allows you to visualize and adjust geospatial data while you’re still in the field.

Want to get the most out of QField? This blended learning course walks you through the entire process—step by step—so you can use it confidently in your daily work.

What will you learn in the blended learning QField course?

This course teaches you how to use QField effectively for geodata collection, editing, and analysis. It’s designed for professionals who need reliable mobile tools to manage geographic information on the go.

You’ll begin with the basics: opening and editing QGIS projects on a mobile device. Next, you’ll learn how to collect field data, enter it accurately, and sync it back to your desktop. You’ll also explore how to use offline maps, apply interactive layers, and perform quick field-based analysis to improve efficiency.

Why choose this QField course?

Blended learning gives you the best of both worlds—live interaction and flexible, self-paced study—so you can build job-ready QField skills at your own pace.

We start with a live session where you’ll jump straight into working with real QGIS projects. With expert guidance, you’ll prepare mobile-compatible files, collect field data, and sync your results for desktop analysis.

Next, the self-paced modules guide you through QField fundamentals. You’ll explore mobile workflows, offline mapping, and data syncing. Step by step, you’ll practice editing map layers, managing field updates, and visualizing accurate field results.

Then, in a second live session, you’ll apply your skills in a real-world case. You’ll refine your workflow, solve common field challenges, and get personalized feedback to boost your results.

A key highlight of the course is its hands-on, real-world focus. You’ll walk away with practical outputs—like synced datasets and mobile-ready QGIS projects—that you can use immediately in planning, inspections, or mapping tasks.

By combining expert-led sessions with practical assignments, this course helps you move beyond theory. By the end, you’ll confidently use QField and QGIS together to collect, manage, and analyze spatial data—faster, more accurately, and from anywhere.
